My kid gives me a hoot! Lily is such a funny little girl, and yes a DRAMA QUEEN! We don't know where she gets it! Lately she is loving the camera. She used to find it inconvenient, but she's having fun smiling and posing, and getting to see her picture after it's taken. it's so much fun to see her grow and blossom into a young child! Sure I miss the cuddling days and holding her all the time when she was immobile, but I'm loving this age as well! In just a few weeks, she will be 18 months old! And she is very in charge, and knows what she wants. She's always had daddy wrapped around her fingers, but is just now realizing it! We love it!

Lily plays a lot with her little friend Olivia. We're also good friends with her parents Michele and Wayne, and it's so nice to have them live less than a block away! Michele also stays at home, and so that's nice in keeping my sanity, to have someone to chat with or hang out with during the day! (Thanks Michele, for keeping me sane!!) And what's more, our two little girls get along so well! They've known each other since Lily was 7 months old, and so they are so used to being around each other. Jason and I were just talking about how we're pretty sure Lily and Olivia have the two strongest personalities in the ward among the babies. And how funny it is that they are good friends. These two together are just hilarious, and entertaining! And absolutely the two cutest tykes around! The other day we went to the park while our husbands went out with the Young Men to collect and organize Food Donations for our Stake. It was a nice outing, and the kids enjoyed playing on the playground. This was Lily's first time going up the stairs and sliding down the swirly slide, and boy did she love it! Both her and Olivia had a blast as pictures will tell!

Also included are pics from when Jason and I took Lily to Willow Zoo Park a few weeks ago. It was a beautiful day and we were able to see a few animals that were out. Lily loved it. She has been there a lot since last summer and early fall, but I think she didn't really remember, so this was a real treat for her. She liked all the animals, but was mostly fascinated with the ducks. It's so fun to have a mini zoo here in Logan. It never gets old!

The Bells & Whistles of Pregnancy...

So, just two more months. It doesn't seem that long, but right now that seems like forever!! My pregnancy's have been really difficult and full of surprises. With both Lily and Kyle I've been sick almost the whole time!

Here's a few things I need to whine about:

1) Nausea like I've never felt before
2) Heartburn! I never experienced heartburn until my 1st pregnancy, and now I have it for life
3) Headaches that come and go
4) Body aches and pains
5) Frequent bathroom visits... on the hour every hour, if not twice and hour, and doesn't take a break at night (can you tell I just love this one!)
6) Waddling
7) Clothes just don't fit right
8) Sore feet and legs
9) Looking like a marshmallow
10) Needing help getting up/sitting up
11) Crazy moods
12) Crying at almost every show I see, funny ones included
13) Obsessing over cravings
14) Going crazy when I have no idea what I'm craving
15) Tired, tired, tired
16) Not being able to eat as much as I'd like because there just doesn't seem to be more room in my stomach, so as a result, still feeling hungry but having no where to put it
17) Getting poked with a needle at every doctors visit!
18) Did I mention the Epidural yet? I swear to not look to see how big that thing is until I am done with my child bearing years
19) Everyone talks about labor pain, but no one mentioned pressure... that's a toughy
20) Being told to hold off (rest period 1 hour, before starting labor) on delivery... Hahaha, yeah I didn't go for that one! I told the nurse there was no way!!! But I had to wait 15 minutes so they could get the doctor and prep the equipment. That was a terrible 15 minutes of my life!!!
21) You're on cloud nine when you have your baby, but negative nine after delivery because it is so gross!!! If you have had a baby, you'll understand what I mean.
22) When they push on your belly to make sure all the placenta stuff is out, that hurts! More than the pain in labor with Lily at least.
23) Little cups of ice chips before labor, not so filling
24) Insomnia
25) Nesting and going a million miles an hour, even though I felt soooo tired
26) Worrying so much about Lily and Kyle. I'd do anything for my children! Anything!!

27) Being so uncomfortable

28) Needing like 8 pillows just to get through the night, and fake comfort

But along with these not so fun pregnancy woes, there are perks that more than make up for it.

1) Having a beautiful baby, and willing to do it all over again...
2) Falling in love with a little person atomatically! I think that's where love at first sight really applies
3) Feet rubs from my husband
4) Massages from my husband
5) Extra kisses from my husband, because he can see how miserable I am
6) Going on craving runs, or Jason bringing my cravings home
7) All the surprises and smiles my first born gives me
8) Lily's sweet kisses
9) Holding a new baby
10) New baby smell
11) New baby warmth, especially after they just wake up. It's like oven warm bread!!
12) Living childhood over again, through Lily's eyes
13) Hearing my name, "Mommy"
14) Hugs
15) Feeling like I'm doing something amazing everyday!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't change a thing about where I am in life. I love being home with Lily and can't wait to have Kyle. I'm sure I'll be tired. I was tired with Lily and slept little while she was in NICU, but there was no where else I'd rather be! The nurses tried to coax me into getting some sleep-- key word tried. I wanted to be with her. It's hard to believe I'm a mom, and how time has flown. It's hard to believe Jason and I will have two! I love this!

Little Kyle Viator

These are a few pictures of the soon to be born Kyle Ronnie Viator! He is due June 6, 2009, but we have tentative inducement date of June 1. Very soon! Lately, my little boy is kicking a lot! Jason laughed the other night because Kyle kicked so hard I jumped and gave out a little yelp sort of cry! We do have some 3-D facial pics, but they aren't on our disc so I need to make time to scan them in. Hopefully soon!

We're excited! It's so neat that we'll have both a girl and a boy. And that they will be so close to age-- 20 months apart! I love being a MOM! And I know Jason loves being a DAD! He's sooo good at it! One of my favorite things of all time is watching Jason and Lily play together! It's so wonderful! I could do dishes all night as long as I could watch them play! Lily almost always greets her daddy with a kiss when he walks in the door. Sometimes she hears the car beep when he presses the lock/alarm key, so she comes running to the front door super excited! You know, it's hard to find a good man, a good husband, and a wonderful father. What more, a hard working man who prioritizes his wife and children and makes them feel special. So, I am so blessed! Kyle! Watch out boy! You've got a funny daddy, a hyper sister, and a worry-wart mother all waiting for you! We love you already, more than words can say.

Yay For Fridays!

I love Fridays! Why? Because it is the end of the week for my husband!! As far as the weekends go, it's not any easier or less busy for us as a family. In fact tomorrow moring for a few hours Jason is going out with the Young Men's in our ward to pick up Food Donations for the Food Bank here in town, followed by a full day of errands around town. By the time we settle down and look at the clock it's around 7ish at night. But I love that we are mostly together for the day! I'm hoping that we can fit a movie in tonight or tomorrow! Last weekend we were able to take Lily to Willow Zoo Park and see a few of the animals who were out and about. It's just nice to spend time as a family. We also ran into Jason's Mom Barbara, siste Crystal, her husband Clay and nephew Charlie. I think everyone had the same idea since it was such a beautiful day!

Sunday's are usually quite busy for us a family. Jason is a Young Men's Leader and so he has meetings to go to here and there, and sometimes I have meetings for Enrichment. And I just don't know where the rest of the time goes? I guess every Sunday there is something that usually comes up and keeps us on the go. This Sunday however, Jason's sister Christine is coming up to Logan to visit, so we'll have dinner at my mother-in-laws. So that is a good activity for this Sunday! Although, we don't really get a chance to truly unwind on the weekends, I still love it, since I get to see Jason!! Also, Lily looks forward to it, and hogs her daddy all weekend. She gets upset if he has to go anywhere without her. So Saturday morning when he heads out with the YM's will probably be a tearful moment for her. :( The weekends are their daddy and daughter time together and also a great time for mommy to catch up on some ZZZzzzz's while those two have a ball!

So, I posted a little tidbit about what Jason is playing on the 360, so I thought I'd post a little bit on what I'm curently playing on the Wii. Now, i'm not a big time gamer, but I will play a little bit every few days and it's a lot of fun! My game of choice is WORLD OF GOO! Sounds weird right? Well, if you get a moment, look it up! It is so weird and weird, and weird, but COOL, that it's addicting! I'm not sure if I'm true addict but when I get stuck I put it down for a few days, or have Jason try the level and see if he can figure out what I need to do. Basically.... there's goo balls, and in each level you need to build them to create something, and usually it's a something of function to help you accomplish the goal. Weird.... but AWESOME! Right now I'm stuck in Chapter 2, and the level is named The Red Carpet. Jason helped me figure out how to get the huge pink goo ball free and where she needs to go to be made into little goo balls... but now I have no idea where the pipe that she needs to feed into is??? When I build up into the sky it says I'm so many meters closer to my goal? But I can't see where it is, and I keep running out of green and white goo balls to build up.... So if you've played past this point, any hints? Do I have the right idea? It's by far a unique game! If you have the Wii, give it a try. It's only a downloadable game, 1500 points/or $15.00 worth of points-- I think... At least that's what we did and that's what we were told when we asked at the store. And I'm not sure on this either, but I think it's also available on the PC. My dear husband knew I was interested in it when I saw a preview of it, and attempted to surprise me with it, but I caught on and he spilled the juice that we were getting it. Today's Happening's

Jason is currently playing: Tomb Raider: Underworld

So, I have to admit that I am having fun blogging and Jason seems to like it too. I am having some problems though. Or maybe I'm still a little handicapped at blogging. But, for example, it's not letting me add any more friends to my List Link?? I know how to do it, you add in the web address for the blog, give a name to the link, press add link, and then save. But for some reason the save button isn't working? And the last one I added shows up, but the link doesn't work. Hmmm..... maybe they're having technical problems with the site; I'll try again tomorrow. Also, it is hard to get friends on here, especially when you both have private blogs, but oh well. I like to look at the screen and MARVEL at my borrowed creativity (I say borrowed since I use a template for the background). But I will take kudos for coordinating the colors of the text and font styles! :) Overall, this is a lot of fun. I'm almost certain that I'll be a late night blogger, while Lily sleeps. So, check in the AM for updates on our life!

Todays update... SCREAMING! Yes I said SCREAMING! Lily has learned the true capacity of her lungs. When she doesn't get her way, she starts to scream. We're not quite sure where she has picked this up from??? But she knows it works and it's a dangerous tool, because Mom and Dad do give in, especially if we are out in public. Tonights SCREAMING DEAL from the grocer was a Ring Pop.... Ahhhh. That wasn't what she was upset about; we weren't exactly sure what she wanted? But we went in search for something to entertain her so we could finish our shopping. Other than her new found talent, she is doing great. We had a lot of fun today playing with blocks, stickers and enjoyed watching Care Brears Movie II. If you haven't seen it, I highly reccomend it ;) It's by far the cheesiest of cheesiest shows. Again, I can't begin to explain, how much I love my little darling! How in the world did I ever live without her!? Or without Jason!? I was definetly incomplete! And still am, since there is yet another little spirit coming to join our family! Two more months Kyle!!! :) I love my little family! And I'm so grateful for how hard Jason works to keep me home, and what's more, for wanting me to be home. And I'm grateful for my little doll panilly, and all the sweet moments we have in our day to day life!

Jason and I are doing great! We're enjoying our nightly ritual of having some alone time togetherness, while panilly sleeps. At this very moment, Jason is playing Tomb Raider: Underworld on the XBOX 360, and I am blogging. I really like to watch him play this game because of the strategy. For some odd reason, I who is not a gamer, am actually pretty good at figuring out where Laura Croft needs to go and do to move on to the next part. It's really weird to me. Jason thinks I should play it, since I can figure it out. But no thanks! I enjoy watching it more. And I'm not very good at navigating the remote. I'll stick to playing the Wii. Well, that's all for now folks! I know that I'm new, and I don't have a lot of followers on my blog, but I like to think that maybe, just maybe my thoughts are read and enjoyed!

The past few weeks, it seems like my little 'panilly' has grown up so much. The other day she was standing next to the coffee table and I noticed that she was towering over it quite a bit-- the top of the table actually hit way below her shoulders!! As funny as it sounds, Jason and I have used that as our measure of growth for her, along with where she hits when she stands next to the door and doorknob. Lily has also been outgrowing so many of her clothes. She'll be 18 months in about 2 1/2 weeks, but she is too tall for a lot of her 18 month outfits and is wearing 24 months/2T clothes.... I'm glad my baby girl is growing healthy and learning new things. But it does tug at my heart, and I know she's leaving behind her baby years and entering Toddlerhood. With that being said, here's a few of the tricks that she has learned over the past month.

Lily climbs EVERYTHING! Nothing is safe anymore. Just when we were pretty sure that we've babyproofed the house, we realize that we now need to start toddlerproofing it and fast! She's particularly fond of climbing on top of the kitchen table, coffee table, and on the arms of the sofa, with her back faced to the edge (this particularly terrifes me). She's also able to climb up and down our tall bed with ease, has been caught attempting to climb the small bookshelf-- which Jason has taken down. And able to reach the kitchen counter. Also, she has mastered climbing up and down stairs. So often during the day, I feel like I'm being hit in the gut, everytime I see her doing something new and SCARY! Luckily, we haven't had any accidents, and we're catching on to all her favorite places to climb and finding ways to prevent her from being hurt. I guess this is what happens when your child is in the 95% percentile in height, but yet too young to understand the concept of falling and being hurt. Her pediatrician told us at her 15 month checkup (she was 30 inches tall then) that if she grew 3 more inches by her second birthday that she would grow- up to be between 5'8 to 5' 10. Well, let me tell you, she has most definetly surpassed that three inch goal! I can't believe that I, who is only 5'1 1/2 inches (the 1/2 counts) will have a daughter that tall!! I have accepted that I'll forever be the shortest in our little family. :)

Along with being a daredevil, Lily is learning so much. She is starting to sort things out based on colors, and shapes. She's also starting to put things back where they belong, and is doing a lot of association. For example, she saw a parrot on tv one day, and so she went in her room and found her toy parrot. Another time, I was telling her the Sesame Street was on and that Elmo was on tv, and so she went and found a few Elmo toys to bring to the living room. She's also really good at finding her eyes, nose, mouth and ears. Lily is also starting to talk more. Sometimes, it's hard to make out what she is saying, and she'll pick and choose when to talk, but the past few days, I've been hearing some new words. Words that she has down include: Mommy and Daddy, no, wow, bye, hi, and some of her new words are: binky, push it (referring to her toys with buttons), come, and a few more I can't think of... One her fave activities of all time, is playing with stickers! She knows how to take the stickers off the sheet, and can line them up to the correct shapes and put them on. Sure they are a little lopsided sometimes, but she's got the right idea. She's also excellent in drawing! Yes, I may be biased, because I'm her mommy, but watching her grow is so amazing and fun!

Well, that is what is going on with our Lily. In a few more months she will be a big sister and I know that she'll be my big helper! We are excited to have Kyle join our family! Sooooo excited!!!

New To Blogging

Since a lot of my friends blog, I'm giving blogging a try. I'm not sure if I will succeed at keeping up with this, but it couldn't hurt! This looks fun, so I am excited! Now I just need to figure out how to do the fancy backgrounds, pictures and music then I should be set. Yes, I know this is a short first entry, so I will try to write more soon!
